Gameplay

Is Pyralinks really free?

Yes. Pyralinks is completely free to play on every platform - web, iOS, and Android. The game is supported by advertisements. There are no in-app purchases. Every puzzle is available to every player, every day.

What types of puzzles are available?

Pyralinks currently offers word puzzles and math puzzles, each with their own daily challenge. Word puzzles may involve semantic/idiomatic links between words or composition of word fragments. Math puzzles involve numerical relationships and operations. Each puzzle type provides a distinct kind of challenge, and we plan to add more types in the future.

How many guesses do I get?

Each puzzle gives you a limited number of guesses, currently three or four. The exact number can vary by puzzle type and difficulty. When you submit a guess, the game shows you which links are correct and which are wrong, so you can use that feedback to refine your arrangement. The challenge is to solve the puzzle within the allowed number of guesses.

What happens if I run out of guesses?

If you use all your guesses without solving the puzzle, the game shows you the correct solution. You can still learn from the solution to improve your approach for tomorrow's puzzle. Your attempt is recorded in your history so you can track your progress over time.

How often are new puzzles released?

New puzzles are published every day. Each puzzle type gets its own daily puzzle, so there are multiple fresh challenges to solve each day. Puzzles are released on a consistent schedule so you can make it part of your daily routine.

Can I play past puzzles?

No. You currently can not go back and solve puzzles you missed, or replay older puzzles to practice. Your completion history tracks which puzzles you have solved and your results for each.

Platforms and Devices

What platforms is Pyralinks available on?

Pyralinks is available as a web app that runs in any modern browser, and as native apps for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android. The experience is the same across all platforms - the interface adapts to your screen size and input method.

What browsers are supported?

The web version works in Chrome, Safari, and Edge. Any modern browser that supports current web standards should work. For the best experience, keep your browser updated to the latest version. Mobile browsers on iOS and Android are also fully supported. If you are having trouble with a specific browser, reach out on our contact page.

Is there an app for my phone?

Yes. Native apps are available on the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android. You can also play directly in your browser at pyralinks.com without downloading anything.

Accounts and Progress

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can play immediately without signing up. Your puzzle history and progress are saved locally on your device. Creating an optional account adds one benefit: it lets you sync your progress across multiple devices. But all gameplay features work without an account.

How do I sync progress across devices?

Create a free account and sign in on each device. Your puzzle history and results will automatically sync. You can sign in with email and password, or use social login through Apple, Google, or Facebook.

How do I delete my data?

If you have an account, you can delete it from the User Accounts page. Deletion is immediate and permanent. For local data, clearing the app data or browser storage removes everything. Full details are on our data deletion page.

Sharing and Social

Can I share my results without spoiling the puzzle?

Yes. After completing a puzzle, you can share a spoiler-free summary of your results. The shared summary includes a color-indicated guess history, and optionally includes swap count and solve time, but never reveals the puzzle solution. Your friends can solve the same puzzle themselves and then compare results.

How do I share my results?

After completing a puzzle, tap the share button on the results screen. This copies a spoiler-free image to your clipboard (or opens your device's share sheet on mobile). You can paste it into a text message, post it on social media, or share it through any app.

Technical

Where can I report a bug or send feedback?

Visit our contact page and email us at support@tmboyz.com. Please include your device or browser type and software version along with the Pyralinks app version and a description of what happened. Screenshots are always helpful for bug reports.

Does Pyralinks collect my data?

Pyralinks collects minimal data. Without an account, your data stays entirely on your device. With an account, we store authentication info and puzzle results for syncing. We do not sell your data. Full details are in our privacy policy.
