Overview
At TMBoyz LLC, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how data is stored in Pyralinks and how you can delete it.
Important: Pyralinks stores data both locally on your device and optionally in the cloud if you create an account. You can delete your account directly from the app at any time, and you can delete local data by clearing app data or uninstalling.
What Data Do We Store?
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
Pyralinks stores the following data locally:
- Puzzle Progress: Your completion status for each puzzle
- Game Saves: In-progress puzzle states
- App Settings: Your preferences and configuration
- Cached Puzzles: Downloaded puzzle content for offline play
Data Stored on Our Servers (If You Create an Account)
If you choose to create an account, we store the following in the cloud:
- Account Identifier: Unique account identifier (AWS Cognito subject ID) used to link your puzzle data to your account
- Account Information: Email address, password (securely hashed via AWS Cognito), and basic profile information from social logins (email and name, when provided)
- Puzzle Results: Your puzzle completion results and progress synced across devices, linked to your account identifier
- Account Metadata: Account creation date and authentication tokens
Note: We do not store profile pictures or other extended profile information from social providers. Your email and name are only used for display in the app; the Cognito subject ID is used to link your puzzle data.
Other Server-Side Data
We collect minimal server-side data regardless of account status:
- Advertising Data: Anonymous analytics from Google AdMob/AdSense (aggregated, not personally identifiable)
- Crash Reports: Technical diagnostics when the app crashes (collected by advertising SDKs)
- Access Logs: Server logs for security and troubleshooting (IP addresses, timestamps)
How to Delete Your Data
1. Delete Your Account (Cloud Data)
If you have created an account, you can delete it directly from the app:
Steps to Delete Your Account
- Open the Pyralinks app
- Navigate to the User Accounts page
- Tap the "Delete Account" button
- Confirm that you want to delete your account
What gets deleted:
- Your unique account identifier (Cognito subject ID)
- Your account credentials (email/password or social login connection)
- Basic profile information (email, name)
- All cloud-stored puzzle results and progress linked to your account
- Account creation date and authentication tokens
What remains:
- Local puzzle data on your device may be retained or removed depending on your device's account configuration (see section 2 below for manual deletion options)
- You can continue using the app without an account
Warning: Account deletion is immediate and permanent. This action cannot be undone. Your cloud-stored puzzle results will be permanently lost.
2. Delete Local App Data
This deletes all locally stored data on your device, including puzzle progress, game saves, and app settings.
Warning: Deleting local app data will permanently erase all your locally stored puzzle progress and settings. If you have an account, your cloud data will remain intact unless you also delete your account (see section 1).

Third-Party Data
We use third-party services that may retain some data according to their own policies. To delete data from these services:
- AWS Cognito (Accounts): When you delete your account using the in-app button, your account data is deleted from AWS Cognito immediately
